Valiant Trims can be fixed chemically and mechanically.
Fixing Advice:
For trim which is to receive traffic, such as a pedestrian thoroughway, we would recommend to plug and screw the trim to the substrate through the webbed angle.
For purely decorative use it is possible to glue in place using a contact adhesive such as Pinkgrip. This can also be an option for when you are fixing to a concrete perimeter which may break down with screwing.
For application on to grid, it is difficult to achieve a secure finish using aluminium trims. However, it is possible to do with cable ties to an extent.
Shapes and Logos:
Typically contractors will obtain an outline of a shape using a seperately obtained wooden or vinly template, and fix the flexible trim around the template using the screw and plug method.
Simple shapes such as a compasses, stars or circles are typically more practical and cost effective to create on site.
