Vuba Binding Quartz is a 0.4-0.8mm translucent binding quartz for use with resin bound surfacing.
Vuba Binding Quartz is translucent and has reduced absorbency. This reduces the 'sandy' and 'matt' finish associated with adding 'sand' to resin bound mixers.
Vuba Binding Quartz will provide added slip and skid resistance for driveways and increses the strength of a resin bound screed by 33% in tests carried out by Vuba in accordance with BS EN 12390 - 3: 2009.
Each bag 25kg and designed to be used 6.25kg per 100kg of aggregate.

Vuba Binding Quartz is a 0.4-0.8mm translucent binding quartz for use with resin bound surfacing.
Vuba Binding Quartz is translucent and has reduced absorbency. This reduces the 'sandy' and 'matt' finish associated with adding 'sand' to resin bound mixers.
We developed this product to offer a Binding Quartz which could be used in conjuction with light and neutral resin bound surfacing colours. As the inclusion of this additive is essential for resin bound surfaces to receive vehicle traffic.
Vuba Binding Quartz will provide added slip and skid resistance for driveways. However, the main function is to increase the strength of a resin bound screed by 33% in tests carried out by Vuba in accordance with BS EN 12390 - 3: 2009.
Each one of these bags is to be added to 4 separate mixes of 100kg of aggregate to create a resin bound kit (with the inclusion of a 7.5kg Resin Binder).
