| Application | Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from contamination. How far does a unit of Epoxyshield go?Epoxyshield covers 20m2 in one coat, when applied as part of a two coat system. If you're applying in one coat, you would require a lower coverage of approximately 15m2 to guarantee complete opacity.

How long will Epoxyshield epoxy floor coating last?Epoxyshield has a 2 year product warranty when installed as per our guidelines. However, life expectancy would still be from 4 years in the most industrial environments, up to 15+ years in a domestic garage setting.

How long is the pot life for an epoxy floor coating like Epoxyshield?The pot life of Epoxyshield is 25 - 30 mins, however, you have more time to apply the industrial floor paint when it is spread out on the working surface.

What is the shelf life of this epoxy floor paint?The unopened shelf life is 12 months. Once opened, the paint should be used within 2 weeks. Once mixed the paint will cure hard.

How do I apply this floor paint?You can apply simply using a roller and brush. The required rollers, brushes and trays are available to purchase from us at fantastic prices.

How long before the epoxy floor coating dries and I can use my industrial / factory floor?Epoxyshield cures by a chemical reaction, and will usually reach full cure after 24 hours - temperature dependent. Intercoat period is 12-16 hours.
