Polycrete is an Exceptionally High Strength Resin Repair mortar. Polycrete is a staple of resin flooring and surfacing professionals, used on most projects for it's versatility and reliability.

Polycrete is provided as a 3 part kit containing a Resin A, Hardener B, and Powder C. The parts are pre-weighed and ready to mix using a drill and paddle. The total kit size is 21kg and covers 2.1m2 at 5mm.

Polycrete can be used on most surfaces with the use of Epibond as a bonding coat. Polycrete can repair concrete, asphalt, or be used as a base for bedding in drainage sytems or fixtures such as bollards. Polycrete is the perfect mortar for loading bays, concrete and resin floors, spalled joints and driveways.

Polycrete can be used as a wearing surface or a base for coatings or screeds. Polycrete can also be used to resurface floors, ramps and steps, and is capable of being feather edged to match existing flooring levels.

Polycrete is weather proof and waterproof, suitable for external applications such as car parks and loading bays, and internally wet rooms and food processing environments. As standard Polycrete leaves a smooth finish, and will require a coating to create an anti slip finish.

Polycrete cures in 3 hours on average, can be laid from 4mm to 100mm and cures in low temperatures. Surfaces should first be primed using our epoxy tack coat, Epibond. The Polycrete is then laid on to the tacky epoxy coating. Clean trowel using our Cleaning Solvent to give the best finish to the mortar.

Polycrete exhibits mechnical and physical properties far in advance of concrete or cement based mortars. The compressive strength of Polycrete can be up to 3 x stronger than concrete.

Polycrete is supplied in a 21kg kit - ready for use.

Each kit covers 2.1m2 at 5mm thickness. As a general rule, each kit covers 2kg per mm per m2. So if you had an area of 0.75m2 at 25mm depth, you would require the following:

Require KG = 2kg/mm2 x 0.75 x 25

= 37.5kg required or 2 kits.

The Kit is supplied as:

Resin Part A
Hardener Part B
Aggregate Powder C

Mix and apply Epibond to prepared surface immediately before application of Polycrete. The Epibond must still be tacky during application.

Mix Resin A and Activator B in this container until homogenous. Add Aggregate C and mix again; ensuring that all parts are fully blended.
